Pacific House

Work is currently underway at Pacific House in Lonsdale Street. Jackson Clements Burrows proposal will see the CBD landmark become a five-storey building comprising three restaurant/bar levels, one dedicated kitchen level, a new basement level and an enclosable rooftop bar. The existing building’s unique architectural style and sculptural elements provided the pivot points for the design. Re-utilising the existing levels, the building will feature an open rooftop carefully perched above the existing facade. While the façade will remain largely unchanged, activation along the Lonsdale and Drewery Lane boundary will invite an enhanced lane way culture. The composition of the rooftop has been designed to maximise the small footprint of the site and frame a 180 degree, southerly skyline vantage with morning and evening sunlight.

Our thermally broken, double glazed, Secco Steel systems have already been manufactured and installed for this Melbourne city project. Our Victorian licensee European Window Co. have fabricated the galvanized steel frames with Viridian acoustic laminated double glaze units. Automated awning windows with blue squared twin chain motorized actuators throughout.

After years of planning we are very excited to see this spectacular building re-worked and come to life in the heart of Melbourne CBD.

We will keep you updated with the progress and final images.
