Davies Henderson were the chosen builder and missed no detail when building this marvellous mansion. The immense detail, precision and workmanship displayed throughout the home is truly admirable. Eclectic flair fused with classic contemporary is the first impression one experiences when entering the lavish lobby through the 7m high brass entry door. The marriage between the decorative high walls, sparkling chandeliers and extravagant artwork creates the perfect French romance.

We worked closely with both our licensee fabricator European Window Co. and Travis Walton Architecture to ensure an excellent outcome.

European Window Co, known for delivering bespoke designs collaborated extensively with Travis Walton Architecture to perfect the design and functionality when it came to the Secco Sistemi brass windows and doors. The clients love for brass is infused throughout their home, which starts with the windows and doors and flows down to interlaid brass boarder of the marble floors. This theme also runs strongly through the lavish furniture and art pieces.EWP Irving Dining 022733 1

The technical complexity of the works undertaken by European Window Co. were extremely intricate as there was a large amount of mullions, transoms, lock bodies and kick panels. The fabrication techniques included very delicate handling of the materials and highly complex welding skills to ensure a perfectly seamless finish and no signs of joinery on the brass windows and doors.

All windows and doors comply with the projects nominated U-Values and SHGC on the energy ratings by applying the Low-E double glazed glass units to the Secco thermally broken brass combination. This increases the energy efficiency of the home and plays a big role in using less power to heat and cool the home throughout Australia’s dramatic weather seasons. Another added feature to these glamourous and sustainable brass windows and doors is the multi-point locking system, providing the clients with an extra sense of security.
