Thermeco Impact Report

Here at Thermeco we are conscious about our impact on our environment, our people, our customers and our industry. 

We have been working hard in the background to implement new ways to improve our overall impact as a business and focusing on areas that will help the greater good. 

We have focused on:

Product - Create a product which decreases ongoing heating and cooling needs for each home.
We have found that Thermeco products have an average U-value of 2.4. Compared to the industry average, this means the Cooling efficiency is +51% and heating efficiency is +63% when using Thermeco products compared to other standard window systems. This is a dramatic savings on the energy bills of the home in turn reducing our overall carbon footprint.

Planet - Limiting the impact on our impact on our planet.
Our footprint is significantly lower 8,680 vs 1,570 than the industry average according to the Normative Carbon Calculator.

Definitions of scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions:
Essentially, scope 1 are those direct emissions that are owned or controlled by a company, whereas scope 2 and 3 indirect emissions are a consequence of the activities of the company but occur from sources not owned or controlled by it.
